WAM has partnered with the Peninsula Hot Springs to design this truly unique experience as you immerse in magical natural rock pools & geothermal mineral springs as you awaken your adventure and senses, and learn skills in the benefits of hot and cold therapy, before testing those in a wild rock pool setting. Along the way you’ll be guided, told stories, hike and taste sensational local produce.

What to bring

Hat, sunglasses, camera, comfortable quick-drying clothes suitable for the weather (including swimwear), closed shoes to hike in, sandals/flips flops/jandals/thongs, change of clothes for the trip home. Warm clothes and rain jacket just in case.

Overview

WAM has partnered with the Peninsula Hot Springs to design this truly unique experience as you immerse in magical natural rock pools & geothermal mineral springs as you awaken your adventure and senses.
Meeting in the morning at the Peninsula Hot Springs, we begin the day with an invigorating wellness experience called Fire & Ice where you will learn and experience the key health benefits of hot and cold therapy under the guidance of trained instructors during the 45 minute workshop.
After the Fire & Ice experience your WAM host will take you out into nature on a guided adventure to some of the most majestic natural rock pools you could ever imagine where you can put into practice what you have learnt bathing and refreshing your mind and body surrounded by wild ocean vistas.
Along the way we’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch packed full of the best local produce.
The afternoon is all about relaxation as you head back to the Peninsula Hot Springs to spend as long as you like discovering the over 50 bathing experiences surrounded by native trees and the sounds of running water and birdlife.

Physical Requirements

Hiking is done at a leisurely pace. You do need to be able to swim for this tour. You must be 16 years old or over to participate in this adventure (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). However, children 12 and up can participate on a private adventure. If you are unsure if this adventure is suitable for you, please contact us(opens in a new tab) or check out our other adventure tours.

Weather

This adventure operate in the warmer months of the year but occasionally there can be adverse weather conditions. If the weather is not suitable for visiting the rock pools, we will adjust the itinerary with alternative activities like hiking or call you the day prior to your tour to discuss other options.
