Yes, but you do need to be able to swim! Our adventures are suitable for beginners to experienced paddlers. We provide the very best stable SUP’s and experienced guides to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Our guides will also give you a lesson of standup paddling techniques at the beginning of your adventure.
Full and Half Day Adventures:
On both our full-day and half day adventures, we recommend you have a moderate fitness level. If you occasionally play sport, walk or are somewhat active, you will love the day.
Please contact us if you have a physical or cognitive accessibility requirement to see if we are able to cater for you. Our adventure vehicles are not suitable or accessible for wheelchairs. We will also be able to provide further specific adventure information. If our regular adventures are not suitable, we have specially adapted private tour options available.
You must be able to swim to join our warmer weather adventures. All of our warmer weather adventures do involve a water-based activity.
It depends on your balance! Our aim is to give you techniques when standup paddle boarding so you don’t get wet but part of the practice is falling off so be prepared. We’ll provide the life jackets to help keep you warm and afloat but please bring your own swimwear!
You may also get wet if it is very windy or raining. We recommend you bring a change of clothes to change into after the adventure.
All of our regular adventures have a minimum age requirement of 13 to participate on our adventures.
We can offer Private Adventures for adults with children so please contact us to enquire.
Your safety is of utmost importance to us and we also want you to enjoy your adventure experience with us. We will check the weather forecast the night before your adventure and if the forecast is not favourable for a safe and/or enjoyable experience we will contact you. If we do need to cancel, you will be given the option of a full refund or to reschedule to another day and/or adventure.
For our water based activities, if your camera is waterproof, bring it along. We do have dry bags and you are also welcome to bring your non-waterproof camera, but please note we do not take responsibility for any water damage to your camera.
All of our adventures include wildlife viewing so a camera with a good zoom is recommended.
On all our adventures we carry the following safety equipment:
- Mobile phone
- First Aid Kit
- Extra water
- SUP repair kits
If you cancel a trip booking at least 7 days before the trip, we will provide you with your choice of a refund of any trip fares already paid, or a credit note for a future trip.
